Sensor Technology
Online sensors are used in all areas of the water sector, as they provide continuous data on water quantity and quality at high temporal resolution. In addition to monitoring, controlling, and optimising processes, sensors can also be used to detect pollution or contamination, or for efficient water management.
The reliability and accuracy of online sensors is critical. They also need to be as low maintenance as possible. We use a wide range of both proven and innovative online sensors in our work on pilot- and large-scale plants, in the sewer network, and in surface and groundwater monitoring. We also closely cooperate with technology providers. Our many years of experience in the use of online sensors and the processing and evaluation of obtained data form the basis for customised measurement concepts, innovative measurement methods, and data-driven process optimisation.
