Today, the kick-off event for Berlin's smart city model project "Smart Water" took place.
We were impressed by the many great ideas and initiatives presented by various organisations such as Technologiestiftung Berlin, Berliner Wasserbetriebe, Senatskanzlei Berlin, Senatsverwaltung für Umwelt, Mobilität, Verbraucher- und Klimaschutz, Senatsverwaltung für Stadtentwicklung, Bauen und Wohnen and Berliner Regenwasseragentur as well as the districts of Pankow and Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg.
The goal of "Smart Water" is to make Berlin climate-resilient by integrating blue-green infrastructures in the design of new neighbourhoods and in existing ones. We are very excited about the further development of "Smart Water" and proud that Berlin is a pioneer in the implementation of Smart City concepts.
